Back to Back Shows and our Team KILLED it!

With the whirlwind of shows we are experiencing right now, it’s been hard to find time to post about how well #TeamLightRein has been doing! Here’s an “In a nutshell” recap of just SOME of the highlights from our last two shows: The Sonoita Show was awesome for our Team, with Sherry Bertagnolli bringing home the Amateur High Point buckle, Molly Fisher placing 1st in Trail, Horsemanship and Western Pleasure and 2nd in Showmanship, Kamryn Perkins placing 2nd in Ranch Riding and Reining and 1,2 in Ranch Trail, Kaitlyn Fisher placing 2nd in HUS and Equitation and Chrissy Rochford placing 3rd in her W/T classes with her horse, 2yo “Known To be the Best” in his very first show! The Octoberfest Show featured our amazing trainer Fred placing 1st in Ranch Trail with deep competition on Sherry’s horse, “Chics Late Night” and 2nd in Working Western Rail! He also placed 2nd with 2yo “Blue Every Time” in Western pleasure, in his very first show! Delia McCormick placed 1st in Showmanship! Kevin Kuzma placed 1st in both Halter and Showmanship! Kaitlyn Fisher won 1st in her HUS and Equitation classes! Molly Fisher placed 1st in her Showmanship class with a score of 88, as well as 1st in her Western pleasure, Horsemanship and Trail classes! Kamryn Perkins was also 1st in her Ranch Riding and Working Western Rail classes! These are just a few of the GREAT placings of our Team at these two shows, there were too many to be able to list them all! We are SO proud of our Team! #RideOn!

2023 Arizona Fall Championship Success!

What a fun and busy show for #TeamLightRein at the Arizona Fall Championship AQHA Show! Everyone on our Team did a great job at this show, and we are proud of them all! Here are just a few of the highlights:

Amber Schuttey won Top 3 including 1st Place, and Fred was Reserve Circuit Champion in Aged Geldings with "Sal"

Molly Fisher was Reserve Circuit Champion in Showmanship as well as several Top 10 Placings in Western Pleasure with "Maddy"

Sherry Bertagnolli won 3rd and Fred won Top 10 Placings in Working Western Rail with "Lady"

Dave Grazier won Top 5 Placings in both Ranch Riding and Reining with "Cal"

Kevin Kuzma won Top 3 Placings in Aged Mares with "Star"

Kamryn Perkins won several Top 5 Placings in Youth Working Western Rail and in Youth Ranch Riding in her first show with her new horse, "Romeo". Keep an eye out for this new team!

Delia McCormick won Top 5 placings in Aged Geldings and Showmanship with "Bryan"

Katy Barrett won several Top 3 Placings including 1st in Jr. HUS, as well as several Top 5 Placings at the Western National Championship APHA show, which was running concurrent to the AZ Fall Championship

2023 AQHA L1 Championship AMAZING for Team Light Rein!

Our awesome team did a wonderful job at this year's AQHA L1 Championship Show!! #TeamLightRein members Kevin Kuzma and Amber Schuttey each WON their Halter classes!! Kevin won a class of 6 in Aged Mares and Amber won a class of 7 in Aged Geldings! #TeamLightRein member Dave Grazier won some awesome awards as well! He placed- Amateur Rookie Reining - 4th, Amateur Reining - 12th, Amateur Rookie Ranch Riding-10th! #TeamLightRein member Sherry Bertagnolli was a finalist placing 14th in Amateur Select Ranch Riding!
