The 2025 AzQHA Year End Awards Banquet was EPIC for #TeamLightRein this year! Our Team won so many awards that we have chosen to highlight and congratulate each member who won awards with an individual post, starting with our amazing trainer Fred!
Fred was honored with a beautiful buckle for his service as AzQHA President over the last two years. He also won buckles as Champion in L1 Open Working Western Rail, L1 Open Ranch Trail, and L1 Open Western Pleasure, as well as a Reserve Champion headstall for Open Performance Halter Mares! Congratulations Fred! You are awesome! #RideOn!

Wow! What an amazing show for #TeamLightRein at this year’s Saguaro Classic AQHA show in Queen Creek! Some of our top results include:
Molly Fisher and “Woody” (first time ever showing in ranch events)-1,1,3,6 and Circuit Champion in Ranch Trail, 4,4,6,8 in L1 Working Western Rail, 8,8 in L1 Ranch Riding, qualifying and placing 9th in the Ranch Challenge event, winning in excess of $400!

Molly Fisher and “Maddy”- 1st place under all judges and Circuit Champion in Amateur Showmanship, L1 Western Pleasure AND Amateur Western Pleasure

Kevin Kuzma and “Peyton”-1st place under all judges and Circuit Champion in All-Breed Showmanship AND in L1 Showmanship, 2nd under all judges in Amateur Showmanship, 3,5 in Amateur Aged Geldings

Delia McCormick and “Bryan”-2nd under all judges in Aged Geldings, 3rd under all judges in L1 Showmanship and 4th in Amateur Showmanship

Sherry Bertagnolli and”Vinnie”- 2 6,8,9 in Select Working Western Rail, 9th in Select Ranch Trail and 9th in Select Ranch Riding

#TeamLightRein was awesome at this year’s AQHA World Championship Show! We came home with 4 Top 10 placings and an additional 6 Top 20 placings! Sherry Bertagnolli and Chics Late Night were 5th in L1 COC Select Ranch Riding,
8th in L1 Amateur Performance Halter Mares, 9th in Select Performance Halter Mares, and 18th in Select L2 Ranch Riding! This team were also 8th in Open L2 Performance Halter mares and 12th in Open L3 Performance Halter mares!
Our amazing trainer Fred and Chics Late Night were 12th of 56 in Open L3 Working Western Rail!
Sherry and Diamond Revolution were 17th in Select Reining!
Fred and Diamond Revolution were 11th in Open L3 Senior Reining!
Molly Fisher and First Time Everytime were 19th of 49 in Select L2 Trail! Congratulations Team! #RideOn!

Kevin Kuzma was CIRCUIT CHAMPION in L1 Select Showmanship, and also placed 3rd in Amateur Aged Geldings and Select Showmanship, as well as 4th in L1 Horse Non-Pro Showmanship!
Molly Fisher placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in L1 Select Trail, 3rd and 4th in Select Showmanship, and 7th, 8th, and 9th in Select Trail!
Delia McCormick placed 5th, 6th and 7th in Amateur Aged Geldings and 7th and 8th in Select Showmanship!
Sherry Bertagnolli placed 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in L1 Working Western Rail, 6th in Select Ranch Trail, 5th, 6th and 7th in Select Working Western Rail, 9th and 11th in Select Ranch Riding, and 5th, 6th and 7th in Amateur Performance Mares! She also placed 8th in L1 Amateur Reining!
Zane Scofield placed 4th and 6th in Open Reining!
